About Me

Hi, I'm Kim Schillewaert, a costume maker with a passion for ​transforming imagination into reality.

My artistic journey began with an art education in Antwerp.

From the moment I first experimented with colors, textures, and shapes, I ​was hooked. Crafting my first full costume at 20 ignited a lifelong ​passion.

My internship with Circus Ronaldo, a Commedia dell'arte circus, ​immersed me in the magical world of costume design.

In early 2023, I launched MadameBrut, where I blend my love for custom ​creations with my role as wardrobe technician for Studio100’s Red Star ​Line musical.

This year, I’ve fully committed to my own clothing line, meticulously ​designing and hand-sewing each piece. Join me as I share the process ​behind my creations and embark on exciting costume adventures ​together.
